A Fly on the Wall

Photographing interiors seems to be a bit of a tricky game in my opinion, and what inspires me is when a space is represented honestly.  We are bombarded with so many images of formally staged and overly designed spaces that the work below is so refreshing.  Emily Johnston Anderson is able to capture a space in a way that feels as if it's occupants have just stepped out of the frame, or we've managed to sneak in the view of a frame of solitude amidst a normal day.  I love that her images portray a space in a way that feels authentic and casual, yet so elegant all at once.
